NPR : A Songwriter's View from the Pew
Susan Werner makes NPR's Story of the Day. While I 'm on NPR I might as well mention this amusing schadenfreudlich story about bait cars which includes a video of two thieves in one such car.

This Venuzuelan program has been in the news lately but it's still surprising to find the AJC reporting on it. I almost bought the Dudamel recording of Beethoven 5 and 7 last year, but I have enough recordings of both. CD Review did give the 7th a glowing review, though, so maybe I'll get it one of these days.

The effect size isn't mentioned and the author doesn't mention that the serotonin theory is questionable anyway, but it's still interesting.
